Overview

SAP introduced HANA on 2011.  It is a in-memory database application that runs on web based application server and cloud platform.  HANA supports large volume of data e.g. Petabyte, Zettabyte.

It has was designed for high performance real-time operations. SAP HANA Platform comes with supporting components such as SAP HANA studio & clients and  database.

SAP HANA with core database server and it can be able run on,

* SAP Business Warehouse (BW)

* SAP Business Suite applications (ERP, CRM, SCM etc.)

* Enterprise solutions that built on SAP platforms

* SAP NetWeaver (ABAP, JAVA)
